Description:	Here is a departmental and line management role within business operations! Take charge of a high performing contracts management team in the UK/Europe. When you work for this company you work for a market leader, with global operations and excellent relationships with the top 20 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide! Initially you will be 100% office based in Berkshire although after a qualifying period there will be some flexibility to work from home. As Director, Contracts you will take over the management of an existing team consisting of an associate director, contracts managers and analysts, with accountability for the performance of the department and the contracts portfolio. Your role will also involve improving processes, contributing to business strategy and representing the company at high level client meetings. Although the main focus of this job is managing the department and staff, you will also be involved in the negotiation of strategically important contracts for the company or any from key company clients allocated to you. Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have experience in contracts team management from another CRO. With a strong background in the negotiation of CRO contracts, master service agreements and an understanding of the business development and proposal process, you will be well placed to take this team through a period of expansion.
