Here is a challenging line management role within an expanding, high profile, specialist medical operations function! This position would suit an experienced line manager with previous experience of remote or on-site clinical monitoring. Our client, a market leading global company involved in the development of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, is looking to appoint a Manager, Project Co-ordination to the phase IIIb/IV operations division. Based from the European headquarters in Berkshire, you will line manage a UK team of 12 staff, involved in the provision of remote monitoring services to large, global phase IIIb/Iv studies. Responsibilities will include staff recruitment, appraisals and performance management, salary review and training. You will be accountable for the delivery of all project related monitoring and site management activities on time and within budget, ensuring high quality of data. It will also fall to you to allocate resource to projects, review the quality of your teams clinical work and ensure that your team has all required materials and systems available to ensure they can deliver all project activities assigned to them. As Manager, Project Co-ordination you will also be involved in implementing departmental strategy, contribute to process improvement activities and play a key role in preparing for audits and inspections. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive line management experience within clinical research and previous experience in a monitoring role - either remote or on-site monitoring.
