Description:	Calling all biomedical scientists looking for their first step into a commercial role!! A newly formed division of a leading diagnostics company is looking to recruit a Product Specialist to cover the M62 corridor and Scotland. The company develops and manufactures instrumentation and reagents used to automate diagnostic and drug discovery procedures. These systems are used in clinical histology, cytology and drug discovery laboratories throughout the world. This role exists to support the field based sales team - leading customer demonstrations, providing training and troubleshooting support for customers. You will also be required to assist the sales team in the sale of consumable products. This is an extremely challenging and varied role requiring strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work under time pressures. You will be required to have strong technical knowledge, with at least a BSc in biomedical science or a related subject, together with experience of routine clinical laboratory techniques and/or modern research laboratory work. A good knowledge of immunochemistry is essential and previous experience of working with automated systems would be advantageous. The ability to understand, maintain and train others on all aspects of the complex instrumentation and applications is key to success in this role.
