| Description: | If you are an experienced proposal developer looking for an opportunity to get into people management, this is it! Our client, a well respected, global development services business involved in the largest clinical trials in the industry, is looking to recruit a Proposal Manager into their expanding team. Based from offices in Berkshire, with some flexibility to work from home after a qualifying period, you will take on a dual role in which you will manage the proposal process for allocated key clients in addition to leading and supporting a small team of proposal developers. Your time will be split 70:30 with most of your focus on proposal development. The Proposals Manager role at this company is very autonomous, global, high profile and challenging. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in client meetings, process improvement activities within the department and training. The proposals department is fun, team focused and full of talented and innovative people. Long term development opportunities are excellent, with the chance to move into senior management within proposals, progress into a contracts management role or even move into business development! Who are we looking for? To succeed in this role you will have a life sciences or business management background with previous experience of proposals development within a CRO. You will be a team player and leader, able to motivate and troubleshoot. Advanced Excel and Word skills, along with the ability to use pricing models and prepare and interpret budgets, is essential.
