Description:	Here is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the expanding biotechnology services division of a dynamic, quality driven, international CRO as a Business Development Manager! Due to the phenomenal success of the newly established biotechnology division an opportunity exists for an experienced business developer to take charge of new business activity across Europe. In this role you will be selling phase II-IV clinical development services to prospective biotechnology clients with an emphasis on new business, although there will be a small number of existing clients to manage. Your role will involve generating leads, attending meetings with clients, closing deals, overseeing the proposal and contracts management process, building and maintaining client relationships and involvement in marketing activities. This is an office based position in either the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland or The Netherlands, with up to 60% international travel. This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to join a company that is really going places, within a specialist service area poised for explosive growth! Who are we looking for? You must have a scientific background and a proven track record in service sales, preferably within a CRO. Previous experience of selling services into biotechnology companies will be an advantage.
