Description:	We are very excited to be announcing this rare opportunity to the market with a globally recognised market leader in the life science market who are expanding and are now keen to recruit a Sales Development Specialist. This position will focus purely on the Pharmaceutical and Biotech customer base and take responsibility for driving sales of a leading range of molecular biology, cell biology and proteomics research products across the UK. You will be supporting a very active national field sales team across the UK and take the lead in developing senior level contacts and key opinion leader discussions in pharma and biotech customers. You will liaise with marketing and develop tactical sales and marketing business plans, look at market segmentation, new product or service introductions, pricing and differentiation. As you can see this is far from a standard sales role and is a rarely available opportunity in the market. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate or PhD level scientist with a good understanding of molecular biology techniques, cell biology or proteomics. Previous sales experience within the life science sector is necessary along with experience of managing pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts, excellent communication skills and the ability to work at senior levels is essential.
