Senior Medical Development Scientist - Oncology - London - £65K

This is a rare and exciting permanent opportunity for a medical doctor with oncology expertise to join a world leading biotechnology company! This challenging role combines clinical, medical and scientific development activities to support clinical oncology programs on an international level! Based from impressive offices in West London you will work as part of a dedicated oncology therapeutic team, using your oncology expertise and experience in clinical research to provide medical input into the design, assessment, execution and reporting of clinical development programs. The role of Senior Medical Development Scientist is highly varied involving input into clinical development strategy, the development of protocols and clinical study reports, interactions with regulatory agencies and key opinion leaders and extensive involvement with medical advisory boards. Essentially you will be supporting cross functional and global collaborations that integrate medical, scientific and commercial input into the development programs for two high profile products! It's an excellent opportunity to contribute to the advancement of medical treatments for many different types of cancer. Who are we looking for? You must be a qualified medical doctor with expertise in oncology and previous involvement in clinical research from within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, or CRO. Knowledge of the clinical research process and clinical trial design, including biostatistics, is essential for success in this role. Previous experience of dealing with regulatory agencies, working closely with key opinion leaders and advisory boards will be an advantage.
