Service Engineer - South East - Chemistry Instruments - £32K (£34K OTE)

A highly regarded manufacturer of chemistry instruments is keen to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support a number of key customers in the Midlands and South East of the UK. The role will involve installation of analytical instruments, routine maintenance and emergency maintenance visits, validation of systems and a level of customer training to ensure safe and correct use of the systems. Some of these systems are large and complex and can take up to five days to install. Most of the work will be with large pharmaceutical companies within the UK. The successful candidate will be HNC or ONC qualifield in electromechanical engineering and have a number of years of field based service experience with instrumentation used in the life science field. Those with experience of working with pharma, GLP, GMP, QA type processess and dissolution equipment will be of particular interest. This is however not essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a good rapport with customers is essential though.
