Clinical Program Leader - Thames Valley - £70K

A rare and exciting opportunity in the current market to take on a permanent program management role with an oncology focus! When you take on this challenging role you become part of a dedicated oncology team working to bring to market a novel oncology product - the first of its kind for the company, a leading international biopharmaceutical business! Based from new offices in Berkshire you will take over the management of a programme of studies with the companys lead oncology product, aiming for regulatory filing late next year. Key to the success of the programme is ensuring that all studies within the programme are completed on time and within budget, in line with the oncology therapy area strategies and goals. Using your operational and therapeutic expertise you will work closely with Medics and Clinical Scientists to revise and manage the clinical development plan, oversee the cross functional team and manage vendor relationships. You will play a key role in the regulatory filing for this product next year and will be expected to take control of all strategic activities for the continuation of the programme. As Program Lead you will have full accountability for the entire programme budget and may have some line management duties. You will have a strong scientific background combined with a proven track record in project and programme management on an international level. Oncology expertise is essential. Previous involvement in regulatory filing activities is highly desirable. To succeed in this role you need to be an excellent communicator able to represent Europe on a global level.
