Product Specialist - Contract Research - North West UK - £32K (£44K OTE)

This is a superb opportunity to join a small yet highly specialised group focusing on providing researchers with cell lines and contract research services. They are part of a much larger life science company and are experiencing tremendous growth in demand. The role of a Product Specialist will be varied, and will involve liaising with customers regarding availability of specific cell lines, discussing with them what would be best for their needs, and answering technical queries. You will also be required to liaise internally with scientists and logistics to ensure your customers needs and expectations are being met. You will be supported by a colleague doing the same job and through careful mentoring encouraged to develop long term relationships with customers which are predominantly pharmaceutical companies. The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with a good understanding of cell biology/cell culture; those who have experience with hepatocytes would be of particular interest. No previous commercial experience is necessary; however excellent communication and organisational skills will be essential in this role.
