Account Manager - Genomic & Proteomic Research - South UK - £45K (£85K OTE)

A highly innovative life science company that has expanded very rapidly over the last five years is keen to recruit an Account Manager in either the South East or South West of the UK to support their growth. The company has a highly innovative platform technology that is at the cutting edge of the genomic and proteomic research arena. The role will involve developing sales of their technology with academic, biotech and pharmaceutical research departments in the region. You will be supported by an excellent marketing, applications and technical support group. You will be expected to be highly technically competent to demonstrate the systems and develop a strong sales pipeline. The successful candidate will be a graduate with research experience or a PhD level scientist in molecular biology or biochemistry with a proven track record of sales success within the life science market. Previous capital equipment sales experience is not essential; however a proven sales ability is!
