Applications Specialist - Spain - Bioinformatics - £30K (£45K OTE)

A state of the art life science company that develops IT solutions for the genomic and proteomic research arena is keen to recruit an Applications Specialist. The role will be predominately based from the companies offices in Spain, although there will be some European travel and involve supporting sales activities in English speaking countries.

You will be expected to present the latest software solutions to researchers and develop solutions for customers to allow them to accelerate their research programmes. You will support the field sales team and will be the technical force within the commercial team. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a growing, high technology company based in a fantastic part of the world who will provide training and support to ensure your success in this role.

The successful candidate will be a BSc with research experience or PhD level scientist in bioinformatics. Those who have QPCR, microarray or gene expression research experience and have utilised software to analyse the data generated will be of high interest.
