Sales Engineer | Analytical Automation Platforms | UK | to £35K (£48K OTE)

An innovative and well-known company producing high-end laboratory measuring instruments and automated laboratory solutions is looking for a UK sales engineer to lead the sales for the automation division.


The company is one of the global leaders in the measurement of liquid density, concentration and carbon dioxide, and in the field of rheometry. The role itself will involve prospecting new business, visiting clients and conducting demonstrations and sales presentations. You will be responsible for managing your own territory – maximising sales and developing and managing customer relationships. The product range is bespoke automation solutions for analytical workflows and will allow you to develop your consultative and high-value equipment selling skills.


The successful candidate will have a degree in chemistry, physics, engineering or a similar field. You will also have a proven track record of success in technical sales, ideally in the beverage, chemical, petroleum or pharmaceutical industry.


The company offers a supportive working environment, a company car, mobile phone, pension scheme, 25 days holiday (rising to 28) and commission on all sales.

Upstream Marketing Application Specialist | Ultrasound | Europe | to £66K (£71K OTE)

A very rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Up-Stream Clinical Marketer within a billion dollar medical devices organisation.


If you are looking to move into a more strategic, international position, with significant responsibility, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.


As a specialist in the ultrasound business unit, you will have a clinical background in this field, in addition to experience in a commercial environment.


To ensure the company maintains its position at the forefront of cutting edge medical developments, the purpose of this role will be to work closely with key opinion leaders across Europe and develop ideas to feed back to the global R&D facilities.


You will have two key remits; the first will be to evaluate current products for the European markets and to identify improvements to existing technologies. This will be done through a close relationship with key opinion leaders in the industry, an awareness and evaluation of competitors activities and developments and liaising through regional application specialists and sales executives.


Your second function will be to identify new market trends, and this knowledge, fed through the development team, can be used to strategically position new products.


To be successful for this role you will need to have a strong clinical background in Ultrasound and experience as a clinical applications specialist.


This role can be based from your home anywhere in Europe (including the UK) but you will be expected to travel frequently.
