A highly innovative life science company that have grown at over 30% for a number of years are expanding and are keen to recruit an Account Manager – Internal Genomics who will predominately be based from their office in Cambridge, the role will involve working very closely with a small team of field based business development managers across Europe supporting their sales activity by generating well-qualified sales leads for them to progress. You will also handle a group of smaller accounts and be their key point of contact, you will support and grow these accounts and visit them occasionally. You will also work closely with the product managers and marketing team to support their activities from a sales perspective.
This is a tremendous opportunity to join one of the most exciting biotechnology companies in Europe at the moment, we are keen to speak with Graduates, MSc or Ph.D. level scientists with a good understanding of molecular biology and genomic research techniques. This is a proactive sales role so excellent communication skills and a positive, energetic approach is essential. Those with any previous commercial experience, whether that be from within the sector or from outside of the science field will be of particular interest.
