Customer Support Chemist

Basic: £35,000 OTE: £40,000

A leading manufacturer of research instruments aimed at the organic chemistry market is expanding its team in Europe and is keen to recruit a Customer Support Chemist based from the UK.

The position will involve supporting customers and sales people in the UK, Ireland, France and Benelux. You will act as the key scientific resource for the company in the region and provide technical support to the sales process in the form of customer presentations, seminars, running customer samples and instrument demonstrations. In addition you will train customers on the systems and present the company's technology at conferences. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a successful commercial team in Europe.

The successful candidate will be educated, ideally to PhD level in chemistry, although compensating lab experienec will be considered. Specific experience in organic synthesis techniques will be of interest. An outgoing personality and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills will be essential, although previous customer facing experience is not necesary for the role as training and support will be provided. Account Executive

Basic: £50,000 OTE: £62,500

This company is looking to recruit 'the best of the best' - a highly successful business developer with a proven record of selling clinical drug development services to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical clients.

The central diagnostics (ECG services) division of this leading CRO is poised for exponential growth and you have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the advancement of this business unit. You will be responsible for selling global ECG management and cardiology services across Europe and you can expect to spend 70% of your time making sales calls to your customer base. Other responsibilities include account planning and execution, building customer relationships, troubleshooting, liaising with internal project management teams and other business units. You will also take an active role in proposal development by managing the process internally.

This is a 'consultative' sale and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation. This role can be office based in the Home Counties or field based in the Thames Valley/London area. Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc and at least three years experience selling either central lab, diagnostic or clinical drug development services. You will be a high energy person with the ability to work productively in an independent environment.

Senior Project Manager

Basic: £48,000
