Project Manager - Oncology - £45k

Director, EU Commercial Operations - £70k

This is a real christmas cracker of an opportunity ~ an ambitious analytical chemistry company is keen to recruit a Director of EU Commercial Operations based from their South East offices. The role will hold full P&L responsibility for sales of in excess of $25M, direct reports of 7 people and indirect reports of a further 19 people. Distributer Marketing Manager - £55k

In this role you will develop an intimate understanding of regional business opportunities in the Indirect Invitrogen Markets including regions such as South Africa, Rep. of Ireland, Croatia, Malta, and Central Europe.

Essential Functions:
The following will form part of the European Marketing Manager?s role:
· Putting together country or regional marketing plans in coordination with European key objectives, direct channel, indirect channel, E-business and product marketing objectives.
· Drive key account revenue through distributor sales team and customer support.
· Drive indirect channel revenue through an understanding of local indirect channels and account dynamics and devising inside sales and indirect channel marketing initiatives with relevant European managers.
· Provide regional input to optimize European campaigns and design and motivate innovative country specific marketing campaigns to drive country revenues and maximize return on investment.
· Control and manage a European Distributor marketing budget.
· Analyze and report on local business performance on a monthly basis and initiate marketing initiatives to maximize opportunities.
· Build solid relationships with key customers, opinion leaders and product champions and will be responsible for creating local voice of customer processes (panels, surveys, etc.).
· Help coordinate and drive local e-commerce activities.
· Provide necessary technical marketing support to key accounts or sales representatives where appropriate.
· Interface with product marketing and marketing communications to design regional-specific and effective marketing collateral
· Help coordinate and run effective events in your region including seminars, seminar tours and exhibitions.
· Build relationships and support regional distributor channels and provide necessary marketing support to further build revenue base
· Design and direct indirect channel sales and marketing campaigns in co-ordination with the relevant European teams.
Nature and Scope:
A high degree of local country or sub-regional travel will be expected from this role with emphasis on key distributor and key account visits. Significant pan European travel will be expected also in support of other regions or for the attendance of training and/or business meetings.
Education: & Experience:
The Distributor Marketing Manager should be educated to degree level, preferably with a higher degree (MSc or PhD) in a field related to the Life Science area. The Distributor Marketing Manager should have pan-European business experience preferably in the Life Sciences arena. A sales background will be strongly preferred. Any higher business qualifications like an MBA or additional language skills are also highly desirable.
