Our client is a fast growing chemical manufacturing company who are seeking a Business Development Manager Chemicals to generate new business revenue for products used by military, medical, gas filtration, and industrial market customers.
This role is to create and manage the proactive sales of products across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The focus of this role is new business development, with the objective of establishing and growing new sales accounts and to achieve targeted growth in sales and product range to existing customers. The role will be using the distributor and OEM network and liaising directly with major resellers and distributors across the defined territory to build relationships in order to maximise opportunity and profile presence and to achieve targeted growth in sales and product range to key accounts.
Relevant sales experience for technically based products in an international environment is essential for this role. Experience of military markets and/or export controlled items would be an advantage. The role will involve 50%% travel globally, and you must be commutable from offices in the South East of the UK.
