A leading provider of instruments and consumables which includes HPLC, flash chromatography and consumables is keen to recruit a European Sales Manager based in the UK. The position will involve the management and support of a number of existing European distributors as well as sourcing and appointing new distributors where necessary. The position is not a direct sales rôle. The company is keen to find someone with experience of selling laboratory equipment and experience of distributor management within Europe. A good knowledge of GC and HPLC required.

This global leader in the analytical chemistry market has a six-month contract position in its customer assurance department. The position will entail handling calls for technical enquiries and helping customers resolve their queries. You will be working closely with the sales team in this office based rôle and will be supporting the company's range of chromatography products. You will also have some administrative duties including maintaining the database.

You should be well motivated and a great team worker. You will definitely have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. To succeed in this position you must have hands on experience of analytical techniques including HPLC. You will also have knowledge of spreadsheets and databases. You will occasionally attend meetings of site and you will be provided with all the training needed to carry out the job!!
