This market leading corporation is looking for someone assist in developing and expanding their service throughout the territory. Our client is already the 3rd largest in the world specialising in essential products and research services for pharmaceutical, crop protection, and chemical companies as well as universities, governments and other research organisations. They’re looking for a driven, enthusiastic and confident individual to represent them to new pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers across the territory.
Reporting to the European Pharmaceutical Sales Manager, your main focus will be to persuade new customers within the territory to outsource their drug discovery & development. This is a predominantly field based role where you will be responsible for ensuring and establishing new clients in order to expand the companies’ fast growing pharmaceutical department. With your competitive and ambitious attitude you will be travelling to biotechnology companies across South Germany to convince them to collaborate with you in using this company’s research and services.
This role provides you with the opportunity to develop your own territory with lots of autonomy! You will be finding and opening new accounts as well as building and maintaining existing customer relationships. You’ll be requested be out on the road at least 60%% of the time and the rest creating business plans.
We are eager to speak with candidates who have good research experience and a life science degree in Crop Protection. Knowledge in pharmaceuticals, the chemical industry and previous or relevant commercial experience is essential and exposure or involvement in clinical trials is also beneficial. There is a strong training programme should you need it from a sales perceptive. If you live in the UK but speak fluent German and are happy with extensive travel we’re keen to speak with you too! This company offers an excellent intensive scheme and the chance to earn 80%% uncapped commission should you meet your targets, along with pension and car allowance.
