This is an exciting opportunity for a microfluidics or fluid mechanics graduate to join a start-up business and enjoy the great opportunity this brings under the safety of a $500M turnover parent company. The company is highly innovative and design microfluidic solutions for the life science sector.
You will be working with your colleagues to design microfluidic chips, using parametric CAD software for drawings and then taking this through to the manufacturing stage. You will have learnt about microfluidic chip design, chip fabrication, and fluid mechanics in your degree and will be taught more on the job by your colleagues. In this role, you will be working with major players in the cell biology, molecular biology and diagnostic industries.
You will be mainly laboratory and office based, working with a microfluidic specialist and a cell biologist to develop this technology for customers and collaborators.
We are keen to speak with those who have a degree in microfluidics, fluid mechanics or related disciplines and keen to step into a design role in industry. You will be given every opportunity to make a real impact in this company which is committed to developing their life science business on a global scale.
