| Job | A new American biotechnology company providing innovative data mining solutions to the life science and
chemical industries is seeking a European Applications Scientist to support their customer base and business development staff
across Europe. The position will be challenging and varied, including
pre-sales presentations, demonstrating the software, discussing
applications issues with customers, on-site product training for
customers, trade show attendance which will include software demonstrations
and technical presentations, market research and competitor analysis. | Job | Our client supplies GMP manufacturing services to the biotechnology market i.e. mammalian, microbial and viral products. They are based in Edinburgh and are currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive on the west coast of the USA. The candidate should be currently working in the U.S.A. and should be living in San Francisco or San Diego. The position will involve meeting customers, customer support and visits - bringing customers to the UK. You should currently be in a large capital sales rôle or working for a CMO (contract manufacturers organisation). Interested? |

| Experience | You should be able to show that you are able to contribute to the substantial growth of the business. Your scientific background is not crucial although you are likely to have a PhD but more importantly two to three years capital sales experience in the relevant industry. You should be outgoing, professional and able to deal with senior level management. | ||||
