A global manufacturer of research products is expanding its commercial team in the UK and is keen to recruit a Key Account Manager Pharma/Biotech based within a commutable distance to Cambridge. The role will involve managing three defined large pharmaceutical accounts with multiple sites within the UK, you will maintain the existing strong relationship the company has with these strategically important accounts and build the business further within these accounts. You will take a strategic approach to these customers and identify commercial opportunity, bringing in specialist sales support as and when you need to support your commercial strategy. This is a wonderful opportunity to become embedded within three prestigious pharmaceutical accounts and work in a far more focused and strategic way.
We are keen to speak with graduates, MSc or PhD’s in molecular biology who have gained some life science sales experience. This could be within an inside sales environment now looking to step into a field sales role or for a more experienced field sales person looking to become a focused key account manager. The team is very experienced and can support if necessary a more junior person stepping up although experienced sales people within the genomics sector will be welcomed!
