This opportunity is really special because you will be working in the US for a year following a few months of training and learning on the job based from the UK office. You will take your newly learnt technical and customer facing skills to support their customers in the US market.
This role is a varied role combining office based technical support and supporting customers by servicing and fixing their instruments. You will also do some promotional work. If you enjoy travelling and like the idea of getting out to meet customers and developing relationships with them to help them to achieve the best they can from the products then this is a great opportunity for you. You will travel mainly in the US and will still have the support of the team in the UK office where product development, manufacturing, marketing and customer support are based. The US office is on the East coast and was opened a year ago to expand and increase sales in that market.
You will be supporting customers with an analytical instrument used within the life science market. It’s rather a niche product with no competing instruments available. This specialist customer facing team comes from a variety of backgrounds, having used analytical instrumentation in a variety of areas of science.
If you are a hands on person, who enjoys method development, troubleshooting and fixing instruments yourself then this could be a great step into the commercial world of science.
