Our client is a well-established provider of small molecule crystallography data and is a leader in software for pharmaceutical discovery, materials development, research and education. This is a non-profit company and a registered charity which is involved in numerous teaching and outreach activities. They are looking for a Research and Applications Scientist to join their friendly and supportive team in Cambridge.
You will be the primary contact point for users of the software, and provide technical assistance when necessary. This role will allow you to influence computational chemistry by delivering user feedback to your team members and pushing forward with innovation. You will provide scientific insight and participate in marketing events and activities when necessary. This is a user focused and technical role that will allow you to use your scientific understanding in a non-lab environment.
You must have experience in using structure-based and ligand-based molecular modeling methods in the context of drug design, and at least an MSc in a relevant subject.
