This company does not focus on KPIs, instead they believe in empowering their employees. Their sales team are treated as a business managers for their territories. They are recruiting through expansion and are currently looking for a North UK Sales representative. In this role, you will be creating your own business plan in conjunction with your sales manager. This will be primarily covering Scotland plus Belfast, Newcastle, and a couple of North England based industrial accounts.
This is a very consultative type of sales role with long term customers. You will be selling mainly proteins, antibodies and kits to both academia and industry in the cell, molecular and immunology market.
The role will include maintaining the existing business with the expectation of new business development. This territory is well maintained as it is the UK sales manager’s territory. As the business has grown dramatically in recent years he will now be focusing solely on his management role, hence this role is available. This means that there will be an in depth handover.
The team is very family friendly, with territories arranged to be small enough for everyone to get home every night.
Progression is also something they strive to encourage, with members of the sales team currently training for opportunities which will likely come up with the current company growth.
