My client is growing and expanding further into the UK market and now seek a dynamic new Sales Representative in the North UK to expand their customer base, and sales of their advanced cell counters and image cytometry range.
You will be a Hunter-type sales rep, eager to look for the next deal that will increase your revenue, and your bonus, which is uncapped and generous.
Private biotech and pharmaceutical companies make up 60%% of their sales; the Sales Representative will be responsible for securing and growing these prospects. Their other main focus areas are Universities and Hospitals where they see a huge potential and growth, so this will at the same time be an area to approach. This position requires a high level of integrity and a strong focus on customer needs. Applicants should consider themselves as hunters, have a strong desire to succeed, and also possess strong communication/networking skills, enthusiasm for discovering new prospects, and working knowledge of the sales practices involved in selling capital equipment in the biotech and pharma fields.
You will be educated to at least BSc in Life Sciences with a minimum of 2 years proven sales experience. If you are an Inside Sales Representative, this would be a good next move. Ideally, you will be based in the North of the UK, around the M62 corridor or north of there.
