This role is a technical sales opportunity to develop a part of a bioprocess business. You will be working for a market leader in bioprocess instruments who are not yet a market leader in the media and serum product lines. Their goal is to use their existing customer relationships to build their market share. With this in mind, they have invested heavily in their products to make them competitive and have opened a new European manufacturing site to ensure a secure reliable supply for their European customers.
The European cell culture sales team you will be joining is a specialist layer working with a team of territory account managers. You will work closely with them and also with the marketing team to generate awareness and increase business for your product lines within existing customer accounts. You will be gaining credibility with customers based on your understanding of the market, their needs and the products available.
You could currently work in sales or applications in the bioprocess market or be working within industry in the upstream bioprocess market. You will be using your technical experience with cell culture in your day to day discussions with customers. If you have not got sales experience then you will be given all the training and support you could need to achieve success.
