of laboratory products within the UK is keen to recruit a Technical
Sales Representative to promote a range of laboratory instrumentation
and consumables in the South West and South Wales region. The
position will involve managing existing accounts along with developing
business from non users. You will spend four days per week visiting
customers within the territory and the remaining time organising the

Well established and well
recognised by both customers and competitors as the UK market leader
in manual liquid handling. Few other companies can claim the level
of product placement and customer loyalty enjoyed by our client. You
will be responsible for growing the manual liquid handling business
by effectively managing a highly qualified, technical field sales
team. You will develop strategies to further enhance existing preferential
supplier contracts for core products in key accounts whilst securing
new customer contracts from target competitors. Current t/o is £3Million
pa, managed through three direct field sales representatives and a
distributor in Ireland. You will recruit an additional representative
for the north of England, once conversant with the business. Customers
include major pharmaceutical accounts, private companies and government
funded organisations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Several years' sales experience
in the lifescience market . Experience in premium priced consumables.
Sales experience in Cambridge is a strong preference. Experience of
launching and monitoring results of sales programmes for new products.
Sales force recruitment, training and development. Experience of managing
a distributor or re-sellers is a bonus. |
