Sales Representative X2

£45k (£65k OTE)

A world leading manufacturer of platforms used in the molecular testing field is looking to recruit two sales representatives in the North East/Scotland and Midlands/South East of the UK. The company has designed a cutting edge automated testing platform which will be used throughout every hospital in the UK. This product provides rapid results and its ease of use means that it can be used in the laboratory and at the point of care. The product is already highly successful throughout Europe and is fast becoming the product of choice throughout the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting for leads, developing and closing sales in hospitals, labs, health systems, introducing new testing concepts and products and much much more. You should be degree qualified with a good understanding of the clinical diagnostics/microbiology arena and some sales experience to the life science market. Those who have a good technical background selling to the NHS already will be of high interest although of highest importance is the ability to work at very senior levels and manage a complex sales cycle. Flow Cytometry Sales Consultant

£35K (£45K OTE)

One of the leading manufacturers of instruments used in the clinical diagnostics arena is looking to recruit a Flow Cytometry Sales Consultant to cover the Scotland region. You will be involved selling the company’s range of flow cytometry instrumentation and the associated consumables to mainly the clinical, research and industrial markets. There are a number of existing accounts within the territory but you will also be responsible for developing new business in order to achieve your sales target. The successful candidate with be degree qualified in biomedical science/immunology or a related subject with extensive knowledge of flow cytometry gained from hands on use. Whilst some sales experience in the diagnostic/life science industry would be desirable, it is not necessarily essential if you have the techncial knowledge combined with the drive and enthusiasm to be successful in a sales role. Systems Support Specialist

Do you want to still use your technical knowledge but escape the four walls that define your laboratory? Do I hear you saying yes to all three? Then look no further, we have just the job for you! A leading manufacturer of systems used widely in the clinical diagnostics industry is looking for a Systems Support Specialist to join their growing team! Based from the office in the Thames Valley region, you will be responsible for providing technical support to users both over the phone and via email. You will also be responsible for providing application support on the instruments and will also conduct in house and on site customer training. This role will focus on the company’s range of flow cytometry products which are well regarded in the industry and used widely. Although this role is primarily office based, you will also be required to travel to customer sites throughout the UK as and when required to conduct on site training. This kind of opportunty to move out of the lab into a customer facing role really doesn’t come around every day, particularly with such a large and well known company where this role is really seen as the starting point for a glittering career!
