This is a great opportunity for a bright young person to step onto the career ladder of one of the largest and most successful suppliers of scientific chemicals in the world . You will be joining a mixed team of 12 people aged 22 - 28 (with an additional 20 next door in Internal Sales). You will be talking to customers throughout the scientific community, dealing with existing accounts and prospecting for new business, selling fine chemicals, oligonucleotides and PCR/TAQ supplies. It is not a high pressure selling job and you will be given full training . Prospects are excellent to be promoted into higher sales rôles - either in the UK or abroad . Apart from the training and the prospects, you will have the chance to join a really fun team, where football and volleyball on the beach after work is the norm (the volleyball team are involved in UK championships!).
You will need to be of graduate calibre (not necessarily with a degree), no work experience is necessary, though you will need a very cheerful, positive and vibrant personality. |

A market leader specialising in the production and manufacturing of chemical analysis equipment is looking to recruit a Sales Specialist - Titration , to cover the South of England . This is an exciting rôle because you will be involved in all aspects of the sales process . You will not only identify and qualify sales leads but you will support your customers by providing quotes, demonstrating and installing equipment and finally providing them with training. When you are not doing demonstrations then you will be required to achieve a demanding target of four sales visits per day. It is therefore essential that you plan your diary carefully and are able to manage your time well.
You must be an energetic, motivated and committed sales person and have a positive attitude. Your efforts will be rewarded with an attractive salary and bonus . You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in chemistry and be experienced, with a proven track record, in the field of scientific instrument sales. Knowledge of titration systems will be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of major sites within the Southern territory. SENIOR CLINICAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST |

Join a biopharmaceutical company pioneering exciting new research and development in Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, pain management and autoimmune diseases! This new role exists within the European study management group and you will manage the late stage development of a novel product for use in the treatment of severe, chronic pain. This product is the first of its class to enter clinical development and as such there is some interesting science to this project and would suit candidates with an interest in the scientific aspects of clinical development! The trials are phase III/IV and the product is currently under regulatory review. The day to day responsibilites will depend upon the experience of the candidate but is expected to involve the following: CRO selection and management, preparation and management of study budgets, study management, protocol/study report/publication writing, clinical summaries for MAA's, liaison with sales/marketing departments and key opinion leader development. A competitive remuneration package is available including pension, healthcare, life assurance, share/bonus scheme and 25 days holiday.
To be considered you will have at least four years' clinical research experience gained within the pharmaceutical environment and a life science degree. Previous involvement with CRO selection and management is preferred along with knowledge of the neurology/pain management area. |
