My client, a manufacturer of innovative scientific instrumentation for the genomics, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical markets, is currently seeking a Support Specialist to join their expanding team in the UK.
Working closely with customers, you will primarily focus on installation, training, field service and support for their world-class capillary electrophoresis-based DNA/RNA analysis systems.
This is a great role for someone who is currently working in a molecular biology lab in a technical role, where you have had some hands-on experience of repairing and servicing equipment and would like to put those skills to work in a commercial environment. The company has a multi-national presence, though the UK team are small, with a high level of energy, and a drive to get the job done. This role will involve a lot of travel, as you will be training and maintaining their equipment, but also visiting customers on a regular basis to ensure that they’re current and future needs are met. You would also be expected to promote their service contracts where needed.
To be considered for this role, you should hold a BSc in a molecular biology or related subject, with up to two years bench or field experience. You would also have hands-on operation and troubleshooting experience, good multitasking and problem-solving skills, and a good customer-oriented focus, with a can-do attitude. If this is you, then please contact Chris on 01279657716 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that my client will NOT sponsor applicants for work visas associated with this position.
