This company is now driving the commercialisation of their business having recently hired a new VP of Sales & Marketing. They already have a small customer base but haven’t yet had a technical support person to support them. Now they are investing in their e-commerce platform, hiring a commercial team to build and support the customer base and increase sales.
In your role to set up the technical support function, you will be responsible for supporting customers with technical and customer support related queries by phone and email, as well as setting up and optimising processes. You will have the opportunity to get stuck in and learn about how a business is run from an experienced leadership team with previous successes under their belts. You will be empowered to contribute in company strategy meetings and use your entrepreneurial spirit to set up your technical support function in your own way and to grow a team in the longer term. This means you’ll have a huge impact on how customers are supported helping to result in the company’s growth and success.
Based on one of the science parks in the Cambridge area you will work in a lovely environment with lots of other exciting start-up companies. You’ll also have access to facilities such as on site gym and café.
