My client specialises in software used by scientists and engineers worldwide, to solve physical problems in their research, design, and development work. You would work closely with other team members to provide technical advice to the sales team and customers at both pre- and post-sales stages. This is an exciting and challenging role, which will allow you to develop your skills in application support, working closely with their team of sales engineers. You will be supporting customers, designing their software solution pre-sale, and the supporting them post-sale. You will assist the sales team on demonstrations, run bespoke training sessions, public workshops, and conferences.

This is an senior role that is ideally suited for a Masters or PhD graduate with a keen interest in a technical role, with a lot of customer and team interactions. Ideally you would have a strong mathematical, computer modelling, FEA analysis, or computational physics experience. You will be part of a close knit team of sales, marketing, and technical specialists that form an important part of the expanding market of multi-physics simulation and application design.

You will be a recent graduate, with at least a Masters degree with a strong mathematical and physics background, especially in Optics or related field, and a keen interest in the commercial business.
