We are working with a tremendously exciting life science company that have developed a unique platform technology used in translational research centres around the world. Their high throughput system uses imaging and microfluidics within a HTS environment in a unique instrument. The company are growing and are keen to recruit an Instrument Support Engineer. The role will involve being the first point of contact for an engineering issue, where possible you will trouble shoot the issue and resolve it. If this is not possible you will identify the best person to visit the instrument to resolve the problem. You will also work closely with the R&D team to support the development of the instruments using customer feedback and your first hand engineering experience. Ideally you will be within a couple of hours of Switzerland although those in the UK or further afield who could travel regularly to Switzerland will be of interest, English language skills are required.
We are keen to speak with experienced life science service or support engineers who really enjoy the engineering aspect of research instrumentation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to take ownership of a problem are essential. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing business who are changing what is possible in translational research.
