Our client is a global market leader in the development and manufacture of high performance scientific digital cameras for academic, industrial and government applications. Their integrated camera and spectroscopy solutions are instrumental in some of the world’s leading scientific research projects!
They are looking for a talented, confident, driven spectroscopy specialist to join their friendly, accomplished team in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in spectroscopy as it relates to the physical sciences. You could either be working in an industrial lab, training and qualifying users or currently working in a technical support function. An important factor for this role is that you have great interpersonal skills; being enthusiastic and keen on customer interaction and able to speak passionately about the company and products you will be involved with.
In this role, you will be involved in the pre and post sales support, along with providing technical assistance when solicited. Being the product consultant, supporting the sales engineers with demos and assisting at conferences and trade shows. You will map out the market, liaising with key opinion leaders and making sure the team is speaking to the right people.
This is a really exciting opportunity to working with a reputable company with a broad and diverse portfolio of products. Based from home, there will be 40%% travel with the role, mostly within the UK and Europe, along with some annual global trips too!
