Product Manager | NGS |Oxford | £45,000 to £50,000

We are excited to be working with a global brand within the molecular biology research arena who have developed a range of NGS based products used within cancer research and diagnostics that are considered the gold standard within the research  community

We are keen to recruit a Strategic Product Manager to join their growing team, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for new product development and managing the most effective marketing of the existing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) portfolio. You will understand market trends, competition, new developments and technology in order to deliver a balanced cancer NGS portfolio. You will also be required to input into the tactical marketing process and to co-own the competitor and technology databases.

This is an exciting time to join the team, as this role will be involved in several product launches for NGS products this year.

We would like to speak with Biological Science (or equivalent) graduates, ideally to PhD level, with hands on experience of NGS. You will also need to have experience either in product management or marketing within the life science sector, those from Genomics or in vitro Diagnostics Companies would be highly desirable.

However, we would also be open to speaking with those from another commercial function such as sales or support, with NGS experience, looking to make a move into a more marketing focused role.
