We are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding biotechnology company that are experts in providing genomic research services to the research community across the world. The company are expanding their commercial team in Europe and are now keen to recruit a Proposals Specialist in the UK who will work in a larger team who are based all currently in the US. You will support the business development group in Europe and occasionally the US team when necessary by handling bid and proposal documents and supporting the presales activity. You will liaise with the commercial team, operations and customers to ensure you have all of the information needed to write accurate proposals. This is a critical position within the commercial operations of the company who are experiencing tremendous global growth for their services.
We are keen to speak with BSc, MSc or PhD level scientists who have experience within a business operations function previously or who is keen to move from research into a more commercial position but not sales! What is essential is a self starting attitude, problem solving skills, great attention to detail and the ability to build relationships internally and with customers by having great communication skills. The company are happy to train and develop the bid and proposals knowledge if you have the right attitude.
