Based in South East UK, our client specialises in the development, manufacture, and sale of rapid test systems in support of microbiological Quality and Safety assurance.
They’re looking to hire a QC supervisor to assist their Production Manager. The ideal candidate will have sufficient experience with Scientific Instrumentation. However, the instrument knowledge is not related to the production of instruments but rather to do with QC verification tests. This includes; testing on receipt, service and minor repairs, and tracking of instruments on loan from a service pool. All training will be provided!
As well as the above technical requirements this role will also involve both assisting/deputising the Production Manager, with respect to picking and packing operations, and assembling reagent tests kits ready for dispatch. You will occasionally monitor stock levels and balance the workflow, and conduct picking and packing operations.
If you have post graduated and/or industrial lab exposure (this is essential) , have experience with PCR and/or a Luminometer – this will be beneficial as these are some of the instrumentation you will be working with (both bench-top and handheld), then this is a great opportunity to join a globally expanding organisation and to be part of a team that pulls together to meet the needs of the business.
