Our client is a subsidiary of a global corporation with a highly innovative Biotechnology lab-based just south of Cambridge. They are investing in expansion within the Life Science and Diagnostics market and need to expand their laboratory team!
You will be joining a newly kitted out Cell and Molecular Biology lab which will be focusing on Organ on a Chip, Single Cell and Droplet Microfluidics for the life science industry.

You will work with Science and Technology team members, contributors from other global sites and functional areas, and internal/external collaborators on a regular basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to investigate novel technologies and fundamental Biology in an industrial design and manufacturing environment. Opportunities to develop knowledge in related areas of Microphysical systems (e.g. manufacturing, design and biological application areas) will be encouraged. You will be expected to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant external scientific findings and use these insights to further enhance our in-house capabilities.

We are looking to speak with candidates who significant hands-on experience with various Cell Biology, Biochemical, Immunology and/or Metabolism Characterisation methods including; Flow Cytometry, ELISA, NGS, Bioassay Development, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Image Analysis.
