You will use your technical knowledge to interact with a wide range of customers in order to generate sales and offer technical support. Daily tasks will include preparing and submitting tenders, lead generation through a mixture of cold/warm calling, providing quotations and negotiating cost. Not only will you deal directly with customers you will also help support field sales engineers by providing sales and technical support. You would have every opportunity to develop a strong reputation in the market
The right candidate will be eager to learn and not afraid of getting stuck in, an outgoing personality with self confidence will be a great advantage. You will be currently selling scientific cameras and imaging equipment into the Life Science market. You will have hands on experience of a range of microscopy techniques and associated imaging and scientific camera equipment such as super-resolution imaging, FRET and TIRF. Other imaging applications in machine vision, physics, or X-ray fields would be beneficial.
