Then this could be the role for you! My client specialises in the manufacture and distribution of innovative laboratory equipment in the field of biotechnology, cell biology, biomaterial sciences, SPR, proteomics, microbiology and virology. You would lead sales activities while developing and maintaining relationships – primarily with new but also existing customers. You would have account management experience in academic, government, private pharma/biotech and food industries, and arrange technical presentations, product evaluations as well as site visits and follow ups, and provide a high standard of technical customer support and service. You would need to effectively manage the sales funnel from new lead generation, quotation through to close, and not be afraid to ask questions that uncover critical “pain points” in customer workflows
Educated MSc/PhD in Cell Biology, sales experience in life science industry required, cell analysis reagent and/or instrumentation industry experience highly desired. A background in pharma and familiarity with the drug discovery process is highly desired, with strong verbal and written communication skills, you know how to tailor your message for a variety of audiences, technical to sales-oriented, experienced to novice. a proven ability to prioritise work independently, but seek help when needed.
