We are working closely with a highly respected global manufacturer of molecular biology research products who are expanding their support team in the UK and are now keen to recruit a Technical Support Specialist. The role will predominately involve providing technical support for a wide range of molecular biology research kits and instruments that the company manufacture by telephone and email. You will however also visit customer sites to conduct demonstrations, trouble shoot and train users. The company are keen to train the successful candidate to be able to complete basic maintenance of instruments and trouble shoot instrumentation when needed, they do however have a dedicated service team in Europe!
We are keen to speak with PhD/post doc level molecular biologists who have hands on experience of working with instruments in the lab and have had to solve problems previously, excellent communication skills are essential.
